A new report provides some information regarding the official release date of Shadow of the Erdtrees, and it has been confirmed that downloadable content for the Elden Ring will be developed. The year 2022 was considered by Elden Ring to be the year that saw the release of the most successful video games. Fans are getting very excited about the prospect of additional content being added to the game because it already includes a huge world and an adventure that never comes to an end. The estimated date of launch for the downloadable content that is currently being worked on was just recently made public.

Elden Ring DLC: Release DateAfter Spring 2024 Information regarding a potential release window for the upcoming downloadable content pertaining to the Elden Ring was obtained through a leak that was made public by Exputer. It has come to light that FromSoftware intends to launch Armored Core 6 prior to the launch of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion for Elden Ring. This information was revealed by a source. For those of us who are fans of the Elden Ring, how exactly should we interpret all of this information? Because of this, we are going to need to exhibit somewhat more patience than usual.

Kadokawa Corporation, the parent company of FromSoftware, published a financial report not too long ago, and in it, they provided some insight into a possible release window for the Elden Ring downloadable content pack.

According to the report, Kadokawa does not intend to release any downloadable content connected to the Elden Ring during the fiscal year that will end on March 31, 2024. This prediction is based on the fact that Kadokawa does not currently have any plans to do so. This would lead one to believe that Shadow of the Erdtree will be made available for purchase either in April of 2024 or later that same year, depending on which scenario one chooses to believe. The retail release of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is scheduled for August 25 for the convenience of fans. Fans are understandably very excited about this game because it will be the first installment of the Armored Core series since 2012, and it has been four years since the last one. After the tremendous success of the base game, it only makes sense for FromSoftware to prioritize this particular entry in the series, especially considering that the Elden Ring downloadable content is almost certainly going to be a hit.

This decision also makes sense when taking into consideration the fact that the base game had such tremendous success. Are you looking forward to playing the upcoming Armored Core game, or do you believe that it would be more beneficial for the Elden Ring downloadable content to be made available first? The two games couldn't be more dissimilar in terms of how they are played, and they are designed for two entirely separate groups of players. Despite this, if it's a FromSoftware production, you can rest assured that either one will be a commercial success.
