Baejae High School, a 'prestigious private school', recently decided not to renew the contracts of all four coaches of the school's elite athletics department, sparking controversy.
Baejae High School, located in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, is a prestigious private school boasting history and tradition that opened in 1885 and is currently an autonomous private high school.
According to Sports Seoul's coverage, Bae Jae-go notified on the 4th that it would not renew contracts with all coaches of the school's sports teams (baseball, soccer, and rugby). The basketball team also changed its head coach in the form of voluntary resignation last September, and decided to select a new leader instead of the coach who led the team as acting head coach.
