Old forester 1920
Among the oldest bourbon distilleries in the United States is Old Forester 1920. It was produced both before and after alcohol was outlawed. That's good to know. While many other distilleries were forced to close, Old Forester was granted one of the few licenses to carry on producing and selling for "medicinal purposes." It is also rumored to have been the first business to bottle whiskey, which prevented tampering.
